31 Days of Arrival: A 31-Day Advent Devotional and Journal to Pause, Reflect, and Welcome Jesus Afresh
Christmas can be chaotic. The lists grow, the calendar fills, and it's easy to miss the very thing the season is about. 31 Days of Arrival is an Advent Bible reading plan and journal designed to help you slow down, open your Bible, and notice the One who came close, not just once in a manger, but again and again.
The word advent means arrival. When Jesus arrived, He brought so much more than a baby in a stable: freedom, peace, provision, mercy, joy, light, a King, and God with us. Over 31 days, you'll explore what His arrival meant then, and what it means for you now.
Structured for daily reflection, each day guides you to:
Grow: read Scripture slowly and let the story of Jesus' arrival speak directly into your life.
Glorify: notice who God is and what His coming reveals about His character.
Grapple: journal honestly about what's stirring in you, your questions, your doubts, your longings.
Gather: bring it all to God in prayer, with a fresh prompt each day.
Go: take two practical steps to respond, then pause and ask the Holy Spirit one honest question.
Starting with opening and closing Heart Check pages, and filled with multi-verse daily readings, reflection prompts, prayers, and plenty of space to write, this isn't a challenge to complete before Christmas Day. It's an invitation to arrive: not polished, not prepared, just present. Twenty-five days walk you through the themes of Jesus' arrival up to Christmas, and six more carry you into the days after, when the decorations come down and the question becomes what it means to live with Emmanuel, God with us, in the ordinary.
Whether this season finds you full of joy or barely holding it together, whether you've walked with Jesus for decades or aren't sure where you stand, 31 Days of Arrival will help you pause, reflect, and welcome Him afresh, again and again.
